Anti War

I think that antiwar voices are never heard on mainstream news because the government wants the people to support their troops. For instance, after the Vietnam war, people started spitting on the service members and calling them “baby killers”.  Troops risk their lives to save not only the people in America, but also the foundations of our countries’ beliefs and values. The government would hate to have our people to turn on those who fight to keep our country together.

I honestly have never seen or heard of these websites until now. The media does a great job at hiding information that they don’t want the public to see. They make their money off of huge stories that mostly bare bad news. An anti-war story probably wouldn’t bring them much money since it’s not that big of a story. Stories about war and what is going on in our country and around the world are what people will be most interested in. At the end of the day, as much as no one likes war, we are constantly fighting one and it’s important to keep our people updated with what’s going on in our country and nation as a whole.
